US CMA Course Eligibility 

Candidates are required to meet the following requirements for US CMA Eligibility

  • Academic qualifications: A bachelor’s degree from an authorised college or university is necessary.
  • Professional expertise: At least two years of expertise in managerial accounting or financial management are necessary. This experience must be obtained after completing the bachelor’s degree.
  • CMA Programme: Successful completion of the CMA programme, including passing the CMA exam and remaining a member of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
  • Exam Registration: Candidates must register for the exam through the IMA and pay the exam fee.

Candidates may take the exam before achieving the academic and experience requirements, but they must complete them within seven years of passing the exam.
