Common University Entrance Test (CUET)

Common University Entrance Test, also known as CUET UG, is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency( NTA) for admission to UG courses offered by participating institutes. Introduced in 2022, the CUET exam aligns as a significant UG entrance examination, offering candidates a common platform for seeking admission to UG programs in top colleges/universities throughout India.

The CUET exam structure is divided into multiple sections to assess different skills:

Language Proficiency: Evaluates reading comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary in various languages.

Subjects offered at AGI for CUET Exam

Section 1: Languages CUET Exam has a total of 13 languages, but AGI provides coaching only for the English language; other languages should be self-taught.
Section 2: Domain-Specific Subjects CUET Exam has a total of 23 domain specific subjects, but AGI provides coaching for the following 4 subjects.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidate must have passed any one of the following examinations to be eligible for CUET UG: Before the registration, the candidate needs to ensure that they meet the CUET eligibility criteria defined by NTA and respective universities. CUET eligibility criteria define the age limit, nationality & domicile criteria, qualification and minimum marks requirements in class 12 boards.

  •  There is no age limit to apply for the CUET exam. Those who have cleared class 12 boards can apply for the exam irrespective of their age.
  •  There are no minimum qualifying marks in Class 12 Boards to apply for the CUET exam.

Choice of Test Paper

Candidates may choose up to a maximum of five (05) subjects, including languages and the General Aptitude Test, irrespective of the subjects opted for in class XII.
