Exploring the Benefits of Taking a CLAT Course

Introduction

The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level law entrance examination conducted every year for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by National Law Universities (NLUs) across India. Students who aspire to pursue a career in law after completing Class 12 generally appear for the CLAT UG examination.

The CLAT UG examination is conducted for two hours and consists of 120 multiple-choice questions covering five major sections:

  • English Language (Verbal Ability)
  • Current Affairs and General Knowledge
  • Legal Reasoning
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Quantitative Techniques

CLAT serves as the gateway to some of India’s premier law institutions, including the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, National Law University (NLU), Delhi, National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, and several other prestigious NLUs that are recognized for providing quality legal education.
